Dear Colleagues,
We promised a decision on the olympiad in February. The final decision has happened at the last moment today.
The Ministry of Education of Georgia has agreed to host the IChO this summer. The event will be a regular olympiad (no increased fee) with minor deviations from the usual plan due to the short time available.
We are extremely thankful to the government of Georgia and to our friends there who are working hard on this project.
The olympiad will be in the last week of July or on the previously planned dates. The final dates, the olympiad webpage and the preparatory problems will be announced in 3-4 days. Also, the official invitations are our first priority to be sent to each country.
We can not be grateful enough to Latvia, to Riga Technical University and to our Latvian colleagues who were ready until the last minute to host an emergency olympiad. They expended tremendous energies to make the IChO a reality there.
